(1) We have carefully studied and studied Amazon’s variation policy and ASIN creation policy. In the future, we will strictly abide by Amazon’s relevant policies. We have made it clear that the abuse of the parent ASIN or in parent-child relationships is prohibited:
Changing the product’s detail page (parent or child) to become fundamentally different from the original product listed.
Changing the parent product’s detail page so that it does not match the children.
Adding incorrect child variations that are not true variations of the parent product. This includes but is not limited to:
Adding products that are fundamentally different from the parent ASIN
Adding products images and/or names that are that are fundamentally different from the parent ASIN.
Adding products that are newer versions or models of the parent ASIN.
(2) After realizing the error, we split all the variation relationships of all sites.
(3) The product name and product picture of the same model product have been modified to maintain consistency.
3. Steps are taken to prevent future violations:
① We have organized all employees to participate in the training of Amazon “Variation Relationship Overview” and “ASIN Creation Policy” on April 1, and conducted relevant content assessment tests to ensure that they all understand the policy clearly and no longer violate the regulations.
② We stipulate that Amazon ’s policy content training and testing should be conducted once a week for the operating personnel. For the policy content that Amazon will update in the future, we should timely learn and organize employee training.
③ We set up a special monitoring department, which is mainly responsible for checking the correctness of our ASIN list every day and before creating variations, whether the same variation parent and child ASIN product names and pictures are consistent, and whether the product details page remains relevant. In order to allow customers to find the products they want faster and better, the monitoring department will judge whether our products are valid variations according to the description in the variation relationship overview, and then decide whether the operator can create variations:
Are the products fundamentally the same (i.e. the similarities of the ASIN’s design and function are so basic as to be hard to alter, resolve or overcome)?
Could the products share the same title?
Do the products vary only in a few, specific ways that do not alter the core essence and nature of the item (such as colour or size)?
Would customers expect to find these products together on a single product detail page?
Through learning, we believe that the correct variation relationship should be as shown in the listed table, please see the attached table “Example of Variation Relationship” for details.
④ When the variation relationship we want to create is not clear whether it is in compliance, we should immediately consult with customer service. Only after determining compliance, we can create a variation relationship.
⑤ In order to improve the product competitiveness, we have improved and updated the product line, and all of them use FBA; in order to improve the operation ability, we have hired experienced Amazon operators to participate in the guidance and operation; we will do a good job in the operation, in accordance with Amazon policies, greatly improve sales, and provide consumers with a good shopping experience. I hope Amazon can give us the opportunity to correct and sell. Through our efforts, we will become a good seller with good performance.
